Grow your creativity!
Soul Sisters art classes for women, offer beginner-friendly, free-spirited opportunities to grow in our creativity and enjoy some peaceful, restorative self-care.
​
We'll explore a variety of art mediums and themes, and use art as a means to explore and voice our feelings and ideas in an intuitive and expressive way!
​
These are NOT technical art classes.
These are follow-your-heart, soothe-the-soul art classes!
Our focus will be on self-exploration, approaching art with a sense of curiosity and playfulness, taking time to turn inward and connect with our higher self, and enjoying social interaction with fellow women!

Offered as both a 5-week session (15% discount compared to single classes) on Tuesday mornings, and as a single workshops on occasional weekends, Rose will introduce a new project each class and will provide a variety of interesting art materials and creativity-inspiring prompts to spark your imagination!
Gentle guidance is provided throughout; however, activities are primarily self-led for a creative art experience that is introspective, meaningful, and empowering.

No prior art experience is required...
Just a desire to peacefully create with others, and to nurture yourself and your creativity!

Dreaming Heart art classes for women are all about embracing, celebrating, and honouring the divine feminine... that compassionate, creative, and intuitive cosmic energy that exists within each of us.
Creating art is a soulful and empowering way to get in touch with this energy so we can tune into our feelings, needs, dreams, and goals for a happier and more peaceful life!
So, show yourself some self-love and come enjoy some happy art time in our magical little studio!
Sip tea, have a snack, pull some tarot cards, listen to music, connect with fellow women, and MAKE ART! Lots of art!
2024 WINTER 5-WEEK SESSION​​

CLASS 1- BOHO WALL HANGING
We'll create a tactile hanging decor piece using pretty ribbon, yarn, beads, and feathers! It's so fun to braid and knot fabrics, string jewels, and maybe even weave a little magic by imbuing our art pieces with postive intentions.

CLASS 2- DECONSTRUCTED MANDALA PAINTING
We'll paint a swirling, organic spiral on canvas and then layer our design with intuitive pattern and colour. It's so relaxing to let go and see where our paint brushes take us! Add a favourite quote, poem, or incantation and bring extra meaning to your piece. The finishing touch... glitter, metallic pens, and gems to make our art shimmer!

CLASS 3- CLAY CRITTERS
We'll experiment with air-dry clay to make a folk art bird, owl, and cosmic little mushrooms. There is something so soothing about kneading, rolling, shaping, and etching clay. Choose some yarn and beads to take home so you can turn your critters into hangable ornaments once dry!

CLASS 4- XMAS KITTY PAINTING
Who doesn't love a little kitsch! We'll approach this art piece with a sense of fun and play as we paint a deadpan kitty in an ugly Christmas sweater. Channel your inner child as you adorn his attire with fun and festive Arts & Crafts materials. Bring on the pom-poms!

CLASS 5- VINTAGE-INSPIRED XMAS ORNAMENT-MAKING
Let's get in the Christmas spirit and make oh-so pretty and sparkly festive tree ornaments! There will be so many fun art materials to play with and lots of sample pieces and imagery to spark the imagination! Cut and paste, sprinkle on the glitter, and have some old-fashioned fun!

BEJEWELED GYPSY​

Embrace your gypsy soul! That wise and brave spirit that marches to the beat of her own beautiful drum.
Rose will guide you in sketching a simple female face and then we'll adorn our mystical mistresses with metallic pen, beads, sequins, ribbon, glitter, and costume jewelry.
Add meaningful words that inspire and uplift YOU to be your happiest, truest self!

TAROT CARD-INSPIRED COLLAGE​

We'll use a variety of art materials to create a large tarot card-inspired collage that will help us clarify and manifest a goal or dream!

We'll layer our materials in an intuitive and free-spirited way and add lots of meaningful symbolism!

Cosmic images, whimsical stickers, glitter, ribbon, faux flowers, beads, and more!

FLOWER DOODLES​

​With flowers as the theme, we'll use a variety of artist's pens (Posca, Gelly roll, Micron...) to create meditative, expressive, free-flowing line art that will help us build our drawing skill in a super relaxing, beginner-friendly way.
Develop hand-eye coordination. Learn how to create interesting patterns. Discover simple ways to shade and highlight your designs. Go with the flow... and just have FUN!
