PAINT NIGHT-STYLE

Learn, step-by-step, how to paint a canvas using acrylic paint (canvas sizes vary depending on subject matter).

In true Dreaming Heart style, you'll always be encouraged to add your own unique creative touch!

This relaxing option is perfect for peacefully connecting with friends, family, and co-workers... while painting your cares away!

OPEN STUDIO

Open Studio is all about channeling your inner child and enjoying some open-ended, exploratory, imperfect, imaginative, stress-relieving, FUN art-making!

Spend time in our cozy art studio experimenting with a wide variety of art materials, chit-chatting with friends, and just having fun!

Rose will be present to offer advice (if needed), a fresh perspective (when requested), and oodles of art materials (see below)... however this is a self-led class designed to give you time to create intuitively and peacefully!

BEJEWELLED GYPSY

Embrace your gypsy soul! That wise and brave spirit that marches to the beat of her own beautiful drum.

Rose will guide you in sketching a simple female face and then we'll adorn our mystical mistresses with metallic pen, beads, sequins, ribbon, glitter, and costume jewelry.

Add meaningful words that inspire and uplift YOU to be your happiest, truest self!

TAROT CARD COLLAGE

We'll use a variety of art materials and mediums to create a large tarot card-inspired collage that will help us clarify and manifest a goal or dream!

We'll layer our materials in an intuitive and free-flowing way and add lots of meaningful symbolism!

FLOWER YARN PAINTING

In this colourful, tactile art workshop, we'll paint an expressive bouquet of flowers using watercolour, gel pens, and chalk pastel.

Then we'll beautify our blooms with a variety of pretty arts & crafts materials like yarn, embroidery thread, buttons, and beads.

CLAY HAMSA ORNAMENT

The Hamsa~ that universal symbol of protection and good luck!

We'll sculpt this cosmic design using our own hand as a starting point. Then we'll add imprints and clay embellishments... swirls, leaves, a lotus flower, an evil eye, and more!

Choose some yarn and beads to take home so you can turn your art piece into a hangable ornament once dry!

CLAY CRITTERS

We'll experiment with air-dry clay to make a folk art bird, owl, and cosmic little mushrooms.

There is something so soothing about kneading, rolling, shaping, and etching clay.

We'll sculpt a whimsical sun (and/or moon!) from air-dry clay. Add a dear little face and decorative patterns!

DOODLE DRAWINGS

Choose from a collection of ever-growing Zentangle-inspired drawings.

Dragonfly~FlowerPower~Deep Blue Sea~Xmas Tree~Xmas Gnome

We'll use a variety of artist's pens (Posca, Gelly roll, Micron...) to create meditative, expressive, free-flowing line art that will help us build our drawing skill in a super relaxing, beginner-friendly way.

Learn how to create interesting patterns.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for IN-STUDIO ART PARTIES

We do not offer decor or add-on time for Adult Art Parties (Kids parties only).

However, you are welcome to bring NUT-FREE snacks and NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages to your party to enjoy as you create.

Food and drink must be consumed during the allotted art party time.

The host is welcome to arrive 15 minutes before the art party start time to lay-out snacks.

Please bring your own plates, cups, cutlery, and napkins.

Please DO NOT BRING CANDLES as we cannot have an open flame in the building.

Participants are asked to wear art-friendly clothes. Aprons are not provided.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for OUT-OF-STUDIO ART PARTIES

Paint Night-style Art Parties are the only option available for out-of-studio parties.

We typically don't offer mobile parties during the winter season... but you're welcome to ask!

Travel fees may apply depending on your location.

You are responsible for ensuring each participant has enough table surface for a tabletop easel, paint plate, water cup, and brushes. Tables and chairs MUST be arranged before Rose arrives. It is NOT Rose's responsibility to arrange furniture.

Rose DOES NOT provide table cloths. It is highly recommended that you cover your furniture to protect against stains and spills. Participants are asked to wear art-friendly clothes. Aprons are not provided.

ART IS MESSY!

Parties must take place indoors (unless previously agreed upon) with access to running water.

2) Once we have confirmed your date, you will be sent a time-sensitive reservation link. Please pay the base fee deposit within 36 hours to secure your date. Once your link expires, the offered date will become available to the public once more.
