Paint your cares away!
Life is busy... and painting is the perfect way to slow down and enjoy some peaceful, expressive time happily lost in the moment.
Ms. Rose will gently teach participants, step-by-step, how to create a particular canvas.
However, artists will ALWAYS have the creative freedom to paint their one-of-a-kind version of the selected canvas; and will always be encouraged to make independent choices, explore their imaginations, and focus on enjoying the creative process versus worrying about the end result!
Self-led art means your Tween or Teen is...
FULLY IMMERSED IN THE CREATIVE PROCESS AND REAPING ALL THE MANY BENEFITS THAT CREATING ART HAS TO OFFER
(all of which far outweigh the end result).
COMMUNICATING EMOTIONS AND IDEAS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO THEM AND THAT THEY ARE FEELING
BRAVE ENOUGH TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD. AMAZING.
TAKING CREATIVE RISKS, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING.
LEARNING ABOUT THE ART MATERIALS THEY ARE USING THROUGH EXPERIMENTATION.
BUILDING THEIR INTUITION AND SELF-CONFIDENCE.
PROCESSING MS. ROSE'S INSTRUCTION AND APPLYING WHAT INTERESTS THEM AND
MEETS THEIR CREATIVE NEEDS AT THAT TIME.
