PAINT NIGHT-STYLE

Young artists will learn, step-by-step, how to paint a canvas using acrylic paint (canvas sizes vary depending on subject matter).

And, in true Dreaming Heart style, everyone will always be encouraged to add their own unique creative touch!

This peaceful option is perfect for getting lost in the moment, connecting with friends, and painting one's cares away!

FAUX CLAY DESSERTS

We'll mix up some home-made puffy paint (whipped cream & icing!) and then use model magic clay to sculpt a variety of fun "desserts."

This is a gently-guided art activity.

Ms. Rose will introduce the activity and provide tips along the way; however kiddos will have the creative freedom to experiment and make desserts of their choosing!

FLOWER YARN PAINTING

We'll paint a watercolour bouquet of wildflowers on a 12" x 16" canvas.

Ms. Rose will then demonstrate different ways to embellish flowers with yarn for a beautiful, textural, 3-D effect.

Buttons and beads will provide the perfect finishing touch!

PLASTICINE FISHBOWL

We'll create the cutest clay fishbowls using versatile plasticine and fun fishy-inspired arts and crafts materials.

Sculpt coral reefs and cute little underwater characters!

MASK-MAKING

Using a paper-mask as a base, artists will channel their inner costume designer to create a one-of-a-kind mask.

Get inspired by Ms. Rose's sample pieces, various concept images, and a wide variety of arts & crafts materials!

Perhaps you'll create a Venetian Carnival-style mask, a spirit animal, or a whimsical character!

The sky is the limit.

BOHO WALL-HANGING

We'll create hippy-inspired wall-hangings made from yarn and ribbon! Add strings of bead for an extra special touch.

Ms. Rose will demonstrate how to attach yarn to one's base using a simple lark's head knot, along with some fun ways to create decorative sections (i.e., braiding and vertical lark's head knot).

This craft is recommended for ages 8+ yrs. as it requires the ability to tie a simple knot.

FAIRY COTTAGE

Young artists will get to channel their inner designer/landscaper as they create the most adorable little abodes for their magical winged friends.

Paint your fairy's home.
Design a welcoming yard filled with gardens and fairy-ish things.
Add sparkle with metallic paint, glitter, and gems.

GNOME HOME

Gnome Sweet Gnome! Young artists will have access to a variety of art materials so they can decorate a comfy-cozy home for their dear gnomes.

Paint your house with cheerful gnome-y colours.

Sculpt plasticine details... like a bonfire (don't forget the marshmallows!), birdbath, mushrooms, and flowers!

HAUNTED HOUSE

Design an oh-so spooky diorama. Paint your dilapidated house, cover it with cobwebs, and add creepy embellishments!

SANTA'S HOUSE

What does Santy's home look like?

Paint your home, and add fun and festive details like candy-cane stripes, snowy rooftops, a Christmas tree, snowman, and more!

Base Fee Prices

BASE FEE:

*The Base Fee is due upon reservation and includes payment for the minimum required number of participants (based on your art party location). If you do not meet the minimum participant count, the base fee still applies.

In-Studio

$225 +HST for up to 6 participants
*This is both the minimum and maximum number of participants allowed for in-studio parties.

Up to 15 km from the Dreaming Heart Art Studio

$300 + HST for up to 8 participants

15 to 30 km from the Dreaming Heart Art Studio

$450 + HST for up to 12 participants

31 to 45 km from the Dreaming Heart Art Studio

$562.50 + HST for up to 15 participants

46 to 60 km from the Dreaming Heart Art Studio

$750 + HST for up to 20 participants

*The Base Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE

(unless your event is cancelled by the Dreaming Heart Art studio).

*If you have participants, above and beyond those included in the Base Fee, an Additional Participant Fee applies at $37.50 + HST per additional participant. Additional Participant Fees are due a minimum of 2 weeks before your Art Party date (we can sometimes accomodate last-minute requests for additional participants. Please do not hesitate to ask!).

*The Dreaming Heart Art Studio is located at 23 Riverside Drive, Chesterville ON, K0C 1H0.

EXTRA TIME FOR IN-STUDIO BIRTHDAY PARTIES:

Are you celebrating a birthday and need extra time for gifts and cake?

We offer a 30 minute add-on option (to take place after the art activity).

ADDITIONAL IN-STUDIO TIME for CELEBRATING- $44 + HST/30 minutes

*Due in full upon reservation, along with the Base Fee.

Please bring NUT-FREE snacks and NON-ALCOHOLIC drinks only.

Please don't forget to bring plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, etc.

NO CANDLES, PLEASE.

At the end of the art activity, Ms. Rose will quickly clean off the art table and will hang-out adjacent to the art room, so you and your guests can enjoy your extra time together! Holler if you need her!

Ms. Rose is not offering a birthday decorating package at this time; however you are welcome to do some simple decorating if purchasing the additional 30 minutes of studio time (i.e., balloons, tablecloth, table decor). You are welcome to arrive 20 minutes before your party start time to set up your snack/gift table. A table will be provided.

The hosting adult MUST remain in the Studio for the duration of the add-on time, in order to provide group supervision.

The Studio is NOT responsible for participants during the add-on time.

We can have a maximum of 6 people (in addition to Dreaming Heart staff) at any given time.

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION for IN-STUDIO ART PARTIES:

For in-studio art parties, the hosting adult is welcome to remain in the Studio for the duration of the art activity. There is no additional cost for a non-participating adult. If an adult(s) is joining in the art activity, the participant fee applies.

Alternatively, you are welcome to drop-off and pick-up the children for the art activity; however, we require the parent of each participant fill out our Participant Enrolment Form prior to the party date so that we have important contact and medical information on hand. If you select the drop-off/pick-up option, you will be sent a link to our Participant Enrolment Form via email, which we kindly ask that you forward to all parents.

We can have a MAXIMUM of 6 people in the art studio at any given time.

Participants are asked to wear art-friendly clothes.

Aprons are not provided.

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION for OUT-OF-STUDIO ART PARTIES

Ms. Rose doesn't typically offer mobile parties during the winter season... but you're welcome to ask!

For out-of-studio art parties, the hosting adult must be present for the duration of the entire Service in order to provide group supervision.

Tables and chairs MUST be arranged before Rose arrives. It is NOT Rose's responsibility to arrange furniture.

Rose DOES NOT provide tablecloths. It is highly recommended that you cover your furniture to protect against stains and spills.

Please ensure participants have enough table surface for a tabletop easel, paint plate, water cup, and brushes.

Participants are asked to wear art-friendly clothes.

Aprons are not provided.

ART IS MESSY!

Parties must take place indoors (unless previously agreed upon) with access to running water.

Ms. Rose requires up to 1 hour before and after the art activity to set-up/tidy up.

1) Fill out the Art Party Information Form below.

2) Once we have confirmed your date, you will be sent a time-sensitive reservation link.

Please pay the base fee deposit within 36 hours to secure your date. If you let your link expire, the offered date will became available to the public once more.

If you choose the 30 minute add-on, this additional fee will be added to the Base Fee Deposit and will also be due in full upon reservation.
