Ms. Rose has designed this class with the heartfelt goal of providing girls with an empowering and feel-good art space where they feel inspired to take creative risks, explore their ideas, express themselves, and make friendships!

Titled in honour of Maud Lewis, Canad's beloved folk artist, this art class for girls is all about celebrating females in the visual arts!
Each class, we'll create an art piece inspired by a female artist (past or present); and in true Dreaming Heart style young artists will be encouraged to grow their creative confidence and intution by interpreting the art project based on their own unique perspective and creative vision.
A small group setting (capped at 8 participants) in our vibey, creative little studio, will provide artists with the peaceful opportunity to escape the busy world for a moment in time, get joyfully lost in the creative process, and enjoy some social girl-time with their peers.
Girls (cisgender and transgender), as well as non-binary children who are comfortable in a female-focused setting, are welcome to join in!
*We require a minimum of 6 students to run a session. If you have pre-registered and we don't end up making this number, you will be refunded in full.
